Courtesy Notice for Iowa Repeater Council Annual Coordination Online Renewal

The Iowa Repeater Council (IARC) is again processing annual frequency coordination renewals electronically for 2026. IARC requires an annual review of each coordination, including a certification by the Holder of Coordination that the frequency remains in use and the coordination should be continued for another year.

You are receiving this email as a courtesy notification, as either the Sponsor or Primary Contact for one or more amateur frequencies coordinated within Iowa. The Holder of Coordination for each of those coordination(s) will have received a unique link via email to complete the annual renewal process on the IARC website. It is recommended that you reach out to ensure that the Holder of Coordination completes the required annual renewal. Note that the email I sent may also be in the spam/junk folder, due to email filtering, but will ONLY be sent to the Holder of Coordination.

Should your Holder of Coordination encounter any problems with the online renewal process, please direct them to reach out via email to iarcrenew@… or president@… for further assistance.

Annual dues for membership in IARC are just $5 and may be paid or renewed online here: https://iowarepeater.org/pay-dues/

Dues may also be paid by check mailed to:

(please include your callsign on the check memo line)

Updates to Coordination Forms

The Iowa Repeater Council has been working hard over the past few months to streamline our processes and make things easier for repeater owners and trustees across the state. We know that coordinating a repeater system or making changes to an existing coordination can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we’ve taken a fresh look at how we do things.

We’ve updated our procedures and broken them down into clearer, more straightforward sections. Whether you’re transferring coordination to someone else, changing a trustee, or just updating contact information, you’ll now find dedicated instructions for each situation. Our goal is simple: make it easier for you to keep your repeater coordination current without unnecessary hassle.

All the details, including the new procedure documents and fillable PDF forms, are available on our Coordinate a System page. We think you’ll find the new approach much more user-friendly. If you have any questions or run into any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to the council.
