Annual Frequency Coordination Renewals for 2021 are now Electronic

Annual Frequency Renewals are now available online.  An email has been sent to each Holder of Coordination.  By clicking on the link in the email, you will be taken to a simple online form.  You will be asked to certify that your repeater has been on and that you wish to continue your coordination as well as that the information we have is correct.  Check the appropriate boxes  and type your name in the signature box.  Once you submit you will be renewed for another year.  If you have multiple repeaters you will be taken to the next repeater listing.

Don’t worry if you didn’t get the email.  In three weeks a paper renewal form will be sent to those who have not responded.  Please make sure the information we have is correct.  If you didn’t get the email, you may request it again from us at: coordinator@iowarepeater.org

You may also pay your dues online at: https://iowarepeater.org/pay-dues/

We trust that you will find this year’s renewal friendly and easy to use.  Our thanks to Iowa Repeater Council members  Jason KCØEDE and Paul WØYR for building this program to allow convenient online renewal.

Virtual Meeting Rescheduled

With the devastation from Monday’s Derecho and such a large area affected, I have decided to reschedule the virtual meeting.  Please mark your calendars for the 1st of September, 2020.

Below is a copy of the original post along with the information needed to attend.

Tom Reis, NØVPR

———————————————————————–

Good day everyone.  Given the reality of the pandemic, the board of the Iowa Repeater Council has decided to host a virtual meeting for our members.  The meeting discuss two items.  First is a move to align the Wisconsin Band Plan with modest modifications for Iowa.  The second is discussion to reduce the time we move to de-coordinate frequencies that have failed to file their annual re-certifications from 4 years to 3 years.

This virtual meeting is expected to last 60 to 90 minutes.  The board will take no action on these items, we would like members input.
